Charles walked into the cemetery, dressed in his clothes he reserved for lamenting. Black robes with long sleeves, they closed all the way, so the jeans and t-shirt he wore beneath them wouldn't be seen. Since it was so cold, he wore his school cloak over the robes, he hated the thing, but it was his only black one... He had a bouquet of red and white roses to place on his father's grave. Sure, Charles knew that his father didn't like him as much as he had liked Jasmine, but that was no reason to not feel pain for his death. His boots made imprints in the light dusting of snow as he made his way to is father's grave. Charles stood before it a moment, then neatly laid the roses atop it. He drew his hood to warm his ears and to hide his silent tears. "Miss you, Daddy." Charles whispered. A comforting hand was placed on his shoulder, he turned his head only to see...

Jasmine. She was wearing dark black robes, tight fitting along her waist, her wavy blonde hair falling down her back, which was very uncommon. She usually wore it up in a loose ponytail, but she wore it like this everytime she came to her father's grave. "Hey Charlie." she replied quietly.

"Hey Jazz," said Charles, for once, his tone wasn't peppy or happy sounding. It was slow and mournful, completely out of the ordinary by his standards. He missed George, how he was always pulling one prank or another. But at least he still had Jasmine. They supported one another. Charles pulled his sister into a hug.

Jasmine embraced her brother warmly, hugging him tightly around the waist. She didn't need to say one word, for her brother knew her well. She held her slightly taller brother at an arms length and looked him up and down, slightly shocked by his unusual sorrow.

"Jazz," Charles said quietly. "Will the pain ever go away?" He figured that it wouldn't. Sure, most of the time he dressed flamboyantly, and was more cheerful than a little kid in a candy shop, but it was to cover the pain and insecurity he felt. The whole thing didn't make any sense to Charles.

Jasmine shrugged. "I don't know Charlie. I honestly don't know." she replied solemnly, pulling her brother back into a hug. "I really love spending time with you Charlie. I need my guy influence, now that dad's gone and Ryan's in France." she whispered.

The corners of Charles' mouth twitched a bit as Jasmine hugged him again, but she wouldn't have been able to see it since his face was concealed in shadow. She had always been so nice to him, nobody liked him, except for Jasmine. "I'm glad you appreciate my "influence," Jazz." Charles said quietly, he wanted out of this dismal place.

Jasmine noticed the distress in Charles' tone and she grasped her brother's hand tightly. "Well, let's go. I want to see the plans for the boutique, I'm sure its absolutly fabulous!" she replied, attempting to sound more cheerful than she felt.

Charles gave a feeble smile. They could apparate together to Hogsmeade. He had the shop and the keys, but the shop wasn't set to open until January. No matter, he felt comfortable sharing the plans with Jasmine. He apparated to Hogsmeade, taking Jasmine with him. He had set up anti-apparation charms on his shop, so nobody would be able to break in. He pulled out the key on a bright orange lanyard and unlocked the door. "Construction is still going on, but it's nearly finished." Charles said, lowering hood, then holding the door open for his sister.

Jasmine bowed her head graciously, smiling. She stepped inside and then waited for her brother. Amazed, Jasmine looked around. It was nearly empty, except for a few boxes and racks. The boutique was rather large, as far as shops in Hogsmeade went, and Jasmine didn't need to ask where Charles got the money from. She figured he had gotten at least part of the money, if not all of it, in whatever inheritance George had left him.

Charles gazed around fondly, although there wasn't too much to the shop at the moment. The floors were a pale wood, the walls white, but they were going to be painted soon. To save money, Charles had been putting most of it together himself. "Along this side wall here are going to be accessories, I've been coming up with ideas for bags and shoes." Charles said proudly. "On the back wall are going to be fitting rooms, and then the rest of the space will be divided into different sections. Petite, regular women's, plus-sized, teen, and maternity."

Jasmine grinned. "Loving it." she replied happily. She was playing with her locket, thinking about Ryan, when she got an idea. "Hey Charlie, I've got an idea. You should have a line of charmed lockets, charmed to say a recorded message."

Charles thought a moment, then a wide grin spread across his lips. "Jazz, that just sounds fabulous!" Charles said enthusiastically. "And I know just the witch to help me with that, and she's standing right in front of me." He was getting so excited.

Jasmine bowed her head and grinned. "Of course." she replied, widening her grin. "I'll work here too! I can just shorten my hours at my shop and spend some here as well." she replied, cogs working quickly. Her brain was developing all kinds of plans, and everything was beginning to fall into place. She turned to Charles one last time. "And Charlie? Would you.... would you design and make my wedding dress? I really would love it."

"Ohmigosh!" Charles said, grinning widely, eyes wide with happiness like a little child with ten Galleons in the middle of a candy shop. "I would love to Jasmine!" There was so much to do! Nothing but the very best for his sister. He would start the plans straight away.
